Hello out there

We’re Amnesty Road, and it’s good to see you.

The list on the right sends you wherever you’d like to go with us.

Who We Are
Amnesty Road began their collective creation of music in 2003. What first started out as an acoustic act soon developed into a full band when asked to open for The Zombies in February of 2004. For several years, Amnesty Road would play a number of venues on a regular schedule building an active audience who would return time after time. Red Light Café, 9 Lives Saloon, Masquerade, The Last Great Watering Hole, Park Bench, Ten High and Zuffy’s all became part of their list of venues whether headlining or opening for larger acts. Their mix of blues and soul transcended into many of their songs, but they would also deliver catchy southern rock flair. In June of 2004 they were asked to open for The Marshall Tucker Band.

With four singer-songwriters in the group, new material was never a challenge. The discipline to stop writing and just run through the list for the gig is sometimes the hardest part of any rehearsal.

Several years of playing around Atlanta in clubs, wine bars, music venues, festivals, and even charity events at country clubs has kept the band doing what they do: playing for the love of music. Now in 2012, they continue to bring in a solid following for every show, gain new recruits along the way, and enjoy keeping each performance fresh by sometimes adding unexpected guest artist to sit in.
