So, every year I tend to go a little overboard on the whole Christmas Music thing,
and only listen to Christmas music from the day after Thanksgiving until Boxing Day. Yeah. I know. Anyway, I
thought I would contribute to
the noble tradition of making Christmas Music with a few versions of some of those
tunes I like an awful lot.
If you are thinking the songs listed on the left are going to sound like the versions you've heard before, well, maybe.
And maybe not. Hope they
don't hurt, though. And I also hope your season is very, very bright. Merry Christmas, my friends...

Rationale:
Santa Bring My Baby Back to Me is just one of those cool Elvis songs that I seem to have made sound a lot more nervous. Merry Christmas Baby, although perhaps best done by either Lou Rawls (most exhuberant) or Charles Brown (most laid back and happy), is such a lot of fun to play. Santa Claus Is Back in Town has been one of those songs that I have always wanted to play with a band... oh well, maybe next year. And You're All I Want for Christmas is one of the sweetest, truest, and most appropriate songs ever written for the holiday season, and this is my
slightly-off transcription.
